کبھی سکون ملے گا اس بے چین دل کو
یا یہ درد کی داستان یوں ہی چلتی رہے گی
Will this restless heart ever find peace,

کاش سمجھ لیتے میرے دل کا حال
ٹوٹ کر بکھرنے سے پہلے سنبھل لیتے
I wish you’d understood the state of my heart,
Taken care of it before it shattered and fell apart.
تمہاری یادوں کے سہارے جیتا ہوں میں
ورنہ آنسو ہی میری زندگی کا حاصل ہیں
I live sustained by the memories of you,

ٹوٹے دلوں کو پھر یوں نہ سجا لیتے تم

دھندلی سی روشنی ایک امید کی ہے
ورنہ غم کی گھٹاؤں نے زندگی دھندلا دی ہے

تم نہ سمجھ سکے میری محبت کی انتہا
میرے لیے تو تم ہی عبادت, تم ہی آخری سانس

کوئی تو ہو جو سمجھے میری خاموشی کو
کہہ نہ سکوں گا میں اپنے دل کی بے بسی کو

اس تنہائی میں مجھے تمہاری کمی بہت ستاتی ہے

زخمی دل کی دھڑکنیں بھی اب سست ہو چلی ہیں
شاید یہی ہے اس غم کا آخری نشان

ہر اک لمحہ گزر رہا ہے بے بسی کے ساتھ
اس کھوئے ہوئے لمحے کا ملنا ناممکن سا لگتا ہے

خاموشی گواہ ہے میری بے بسی کی
آنکھوں میں چھلکتے آنسو بتاتے ہیں کہانی
